Merry Christmas from Smalltown Weather! From my family to yours, we wish you a very warm, happy, and spirit-filled Christmas.
Well, Arizona will get the White Christmas this year! Having lived there for 6 years, I can say that is a real treat for those folks! Of course, I am a little sympathetic to the road crews that will be spending Christmas plowing the snow....I had to do that once on New Years back in my college days (in Arizona...).
But, thanks to Arizona, we will see a T-Shirt Christmas this year here in Central Texas. Some nice clouds and a little drizzle to make for a cozy Christmas morning, but an afternoon that will allow for some outdoor family activities!
Enjoy it while it lasts, as Saturday begins to bring us a potentially violent winter storm. Hill Country may see some snow, while areas through the higher elevations of West Texas and along the Interstate 20 and north will see potentially heavy snow and blizzard-like conditions. Not much has changed since my update yesterday, so please check out my post titled "Update- Weekend Severe Weather" and stay weather-ready!
