Good Morning! Currently as I write this (4:45 am), a cold front has passed through a line extending from Fort Stockton to San Angelo to Brady to Hamilton (it wraps a bit northeast).
Along with significantly cooler temperatures that will send temperatures in Hill Country well below the freezing mark tomorrow morning, this cold front is bringing gusty winds this morning through the afternoon, hopefully subsiding around sunset. Some winds could gust as high as 45 mph, although likely sustained winds will be in the low 20's. The highest temperatures today have already occurred....we will see a cooling trend all day through tomorrow morning. I do expect clouds to dissipate for the most part after the cold front passes.
The main weather threats for the next 24 hours are gusty winds today, then freezing temperatures tonight into tomorrow morning. We could see a brief rain shower with the cold front passing through, but it will be pretty insignificant.
