Cool weather fact for the day...the cold front that pushed through this morning and caused early-morning fog/mist/drizzle that led to a sunny day with gusty winds is part of the same storm that is expected to severely cripple the Northeast United States over the coming weekend. We're lucky to be in this part of the country right now!
A cool (and somewhat brisk) overnight and early morning will lead to a sunny, mild Friday. A semi-strong upper-level ridge has built into the region behind the cold front that pushed through this morning, and this will keep weather pretty nice for the weekend....mostly clear, mild, and perfect for this time of year...in fact, Sunday & Monday afternoons will could be in the low-to-mid-70's through the area.
