Good Morning! Rain showers to the Interstate 35 Corridor are tapering off, and this will give way to predominately mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures through the region. Some locations may even see a bit of sunshine this afternoon! Highs in the mid 60's and light winds around the region.
We can expect this pattern to persist through Tuesday, gradually warming into the mid and upper 70's through much of the region. Wednesday looks to bring some more interesting weather with another cold front pushing through the region, bringing cooler temperatures, drier air, and gusty winds with it (may see some Red Flag advisories issued for fire danger through West Texas). Precipitation looks like it will occur, but more confined to areas east of the Interstate 35 where more low-level moisture is concentrated.
This coming weekend looks like it could become a little dicey, but forecast model inconsistency leaves me at a toss-up as it stands right now. Stay tuned!
