Good Evening, another unusually warm one out there this afternoon.
Tomorrow should start to wrap it up, and Saturday will be slightly cooler, with high temperatures in the 60's by Sunday afternoon.
A rather rigorous cold front will push through the region on Saturday night...this will bring some rain showers through West and Central Texas, and an increased chance of some severe thunderstorms in East Texas. Through our area, however, some low clouds and drizzle Saturday morning,
then most of the rain will come through Saturday evening and Sunday early
morning, with some embedded thunderstorms. Rainfall accumulation will be rather
light (half inch or less), with isolated heavier showers. East of the Interstate 35, rainfall accumulations drastically increase. Sunday afternoon will bring a dry airmass and breezy winds.
