Good Morning! Not sure about you, but it feels like Friday!
Mostly cloudy skies today, but somewhat warm and moist, as well as breezy. A strong surge of Gulf of Mexico moisture is seeping into the region....combined with another surge of upper-level moisture from Hurricane Sandra in the East Pacific...this will promote heavy rainfall for the end of this week to the Southern Plains, including much of Texas and Eastern Oklahoma....upwards of 10-15 inches in some places.
I expect widespread rain to begin falling tomorrow afternoon and potentially last through Sunday morning.
I'll post a separate discussion regarding this.
